When you sign in with your email and password, Forward Earth sends a 6-digit verification code to your inbox. You need to enter this code to complete the sign-in. This extra step keeps your account secure and helps Forward Earth meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security standards.
Who does this affect?
This applies to users who sign in with an email address and password. If you sign in with Google or a company single sign-on (SSO) provider, nothing changes — you are not asked for a verification code.
How to sign in
Step 1: Go to the Forward Earth sign-in page and enter your email address and password, then click Sign in.
Step 2: You will be taken to a verification screen. Check your inbox for an email from Forward Earth containing a 6-digit code.
Step 3: Enter the 6 digits in the boxes on the verification screen and click Continue. You are now signed in.
If you did not receive the code
Wait a moment and check your spam folder. If the code has still not arrived after 35 seconds, a Resend code button will appear on the verification screen. Click it to receive a new code. Note that once you resend, the previous code stops working.
Incorrect or expired code
If you enter the wrong code, you will see the message "Incorrect code. Try again" and can retry. If more than 3 minutes have passed since the code was issued, the session expires and you will need to start the sign-in process from the beginning.
