What are precursors?

Updated over 11 months ago

Precursors are input materials needed for the production of CBAM goods, where the input materials are CBAM goods themselves.

Examples:

Steel production: Crude steel is a precursor for iron or steel products (e.g. high alloy steel).

Aluminum production: Unwrought aluminium is a precursor for aluminum products (e.g. aluminium powder).
