Weβre excited to share the latest enhancements to the CBAM module, making it even easier to manage your emissions assessments and ensure CBAM compliance. This update introduces new features for Aluminium Products and other aggregated goods categories, streamlining workflows and improving data accuracy.
β¨ Whatβs New?
π Default Values for Precursors
You can now search for CN codes of precursors to retrieve embedded emissions using default values defined by the EU commission. This ensures faster and more reliable data entry, until you can update the data with information from your suppliers.
π Link Own Assessments as Precursors
Leverage existing assessments (e.g., from other locations or aggregated goods categories) as sources for embedded emissions in precursors. Updates to linked assessments will automatically trigger recalculations for all downstream assessments, ensuring consistent and accurate emissions tracking across the board.
π New Workflow for Alloying Materials in Aluminium Products
When adding alloying materials, users can now:
Specify the share of alloying materials used.
Automatically adjust calculations if the share exceeds 5%, treating the excess as primary unwrought aluminium in embedded emissions.
