๐ Launch announcement ๐
We are excited to announce the launch of our CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) module, designed to simplify compliance and streamline emissions management for your business. With this initial release, weโre supporting Aluminium Products, enabling you to calculate and manage their embedded emissions seamlessly.
Key Features Available at Launch
๐ Manage Locations
Easily create and manage locations where your production activities occur. This feature allows you to associate products and assessments with specific facilities or regions for accurate reporting.
๐ฆ Manage Products in Product Catalog
Organize and classify your products in the Product Catalog:
Add products with details such as names, locations and CN codes.
Ensure that your products are correctly categorized under the CN code to ensure a correct mapping to the corresponding aggregated goods category (AGC)
๐ Create Assessments and Collect Data
Perform assessments tailored to the AGC "Aluminium Products" by collecting the necessary data across:
Precursors (incl. supplier-specific data, default values and own assessments)
Fuels
Electricity
Process Outputs
This ensures a structured approach to emissions data collection, aligned with CBAM regulations.
๐งฎ Emissions Calculation for Aluminium Products
Automatically calculate emissions for "aluminium products" using the collected data. The module considers process emissions, fuel consumption, electricity use, and production outputs to generate precise emissions results.
๐ View Emissions in Product Emissions
Access calculated emissions data in the Product Emissions section:
View direct, indirect, and total emissions for each product.
Validate the results before sharing them with the customers.
